The ponchos are cute too. Always nice to have a friend who shares the same things with you and since I know who Pammy Sue is and follow her blog also, I know she has been trying so hard to master the art of knitting. She is a good crocheter. There are a lot of patterns that are knitted that incorporate crochet too. I have seen it many times. Right now I am knitting a 5th or 6th ribbed cap on the round, and by that I mean on circular knitting needles. When using that kind of needle there is no seam to see or to sew up. A circular needle is always my first choice when knitting, no matter what I'm making. I knit all my long scarves on one of those, it just seems less cumbersome than straight needles. I have a whole mess of them and recently trying to find some sort of storage thingy to put them in. Right now I store them in a plastic case and it is annoying to find the right size. The caps I am making are tricky, when decreasing stitches one has to switch over to DP (double point)needles, like what you would use to make socks, or fingers in gloves. What a pain in the butt, lol. Well anyways, have missed you, glad you are feeling better and yes, I bet the breeze smells heavenly with the scent of orange blossoms. You are blessed.<br />Susanne :) Susanne Tyreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04271812578614840958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8776767262067674902.post-43803977461817588342015-02-10T04:52:21.396-08:002015-02-10T04:52:21.396-08:00Those girls are so sweet!♥️

And it sounds like you did a lot more than basic knitting. It is encouraging how much is available on line to help us perfect our skills or start them.
