First we have Noah helping Gamma make some Pumpkin-Apple Muffins. He is a good helper! And next is a Potato Crust Asparagus & Ham Quiche, from my friend Pam at For The Love Of Cooking Blog. This was SO delicious! I can't wait to make it again. It holds together so nicely with the potato crust, and is much more figure friendly without the pastry. I also used reduced fat swiss cheese in this recipe with great results. The soft glow of the tree.An attempt to get a picture of Ducey by the sled. And actually, I was hoping to get Noah to put the Santa hat on (thanks Amy for the idea) but he said NO THANK YOU! Some change in table decor.. I cut out holiday shapes out of card stock using cookie cutters, and then glued old sheet music to the shapes for my place cards for Christmas Eve dinner. The placemats are too pretty to be covered up, and I forgot to take a picture without the plates on them. White embossed chargers, with holiday berry plates. Christmas wine glasses, and frosted tea lights scattered around the table. Center piece is a sled given to me by my friend Maryrose, many years ago. I have two pointsettias in it with some greenery. The tea lights are battery candles that flicker. Made biscotti for the first time ever tonight. Chocolate Almond with white chocolate drizzled on top. The boot is a ceramic piece I painted when Drew was a baby. I love this piece and use it every year. .

The biscotti has me intrigued. Please include the recipe. The quiche sounds yummy too. And as always, your tables look beautiful. Love the name place idea.
Everything is beautiful Kris. The placecard idea was VERY clever and turned out soo well. Our "Christmas" is today and I ended up soo sick yesterday. Finally caught what all my grandkids had. WOW the sickest I have been for a while. Still not 100% today but I "might" be able to fake it. We will see. ENJOY these next few days...
Lauri, the recipe is posted. I should have included it with the original post. Let me know how you like them.
Debbie, Oh....so sorry you got that nasty bug. Gennifer's family was lucky, as only Hannie got it. I kept my distance from them all week, just in case. I am way scared of that stomach flu! Enjoy your Christmas celebration.
i love your holiday decor! its hard to believe in 5 days it will be over!
Everything looks wonderful. You are ready for the big day. I can't believe it's here already.
We are going to the 5:00 service before starting our festivities on Christmas Eve. Stacy and James come in that morning, weather permitting. I can't wait. Hope to see you again before Christmas (maybe at Target this time???), but if not have a blessed holiday.
Love to the Grover's,
from all of the Kelley's
