This went together very quickly, and baked up nice and fast in one piece. Then you cut it into wedges.
Scones always remind me of my brother Mark. I used to make them sometimes for our Easter celebrations, and he loved them, calling them "stones" instead of scones.
These were by far the easiest scones I have ever made. And a tasty sweet treat for a sweets lover like me.

So, I have always admired scones..and thought they just so proper with cup of tea...but I have never tried to make them myself - until today!! Oh yes - this is a scone for me:) I will be trying it tonight (ok..well, I hope so. Do I have chocolate chips?? I may have used the last in those cowboy cookies!) If not, tonight..soon.
