Mr. G and I have developed the habit of grocery shopping together on the weekend. Our favorite place is Fresh & Easy. While we were strolling up and down the aisle's I asked him what sounded good for dinner. He said, "How about grilled panini sandwiches?" So we bought a nice loaf of ciabatta bread, deli turkey and ham, and some smoked gouda cheese and more cremini mushrooms.
Slice the ciabatta bread horizontally, drizzle with olive oil. Lay oiled side down onto panini press. Drizzle tiny bit inside bread, then layer ham, turkey, sliced tomato, gouda cheese, fresh basil, and sliced mushrooms. Top with second slice of bread.
Close it up. Tighten down press.
And.....enjoy!
THAT'S GOUDA!!!!!
Bon Appetit!

Oooooh that does look gouda!! hahaha
I made sandwhiches for lunch too and we had pears with them. They were good pears too.
How come I never get a phone call when these gouda meals are being prepared?? hmmm?
My word that looks delish! And your shoes are so adorable.
Oh yummmm...they looked wonderful...
What a perfect panini! I love the added mushrooms... great idea.
That does look gouda Kris. Do you grow that basil. It's really fresh looking.
Hmmm...I'm thinkin' I might need a panini press of my own:) I love them!!
Yum! Those are making me hungry :) I have a question for you.. My sister Brianne followed your instructions on how to make the fruit pizza dessert.. She said (and my whole family) that it was DELICIOUS!! She asked me to ask you what you put on the stone (not sure what it's called) the stone you baked the pizza on. She said the cookie stuck really bad to it, and asked if you have any tips for that?? Thanks!
