52 Candles!!

That's right!  I had 52 candles to blow out this year.

I had a wonderful day!  My Mama came out bright and early with hot coffee and danish from Panera for us to share.   She and Noah and I sat at the kitchen table together and talked, and laughed, and  solved all of the problems of the world.  My phone rang all day with lovely messages from so many friends and family members!  I got texts, emails, visits, flowers, all day long.

Gennifer and Jake had us all to their house for my birthday dinner.  I was so touched to have been treated to such a special evening.   The house was decorated so festively, and she had a beautiful display on her island with photos of us, and beautiful caprese appetizers, and my favorite Spring time treat...marshmallow Peeps!!!  There were balloons and streamers, and party blowers.  A delicious meal of lasagna and spinach salad with homemade bread.  Eri made my favorite cake, angel food with whipped cream and strawberries. It was perfect!!

I really did feel like a Queen! 

The three little ones played, and we all had such a good time.

 Jake got me a lottery ticket, and we talked about what we would do with our winnings!

I was showered with wonderful gifts, and the little ones helped me open.

Gennifer did a little cheer for us.......very entertaining!!

A truly wonderful day!!!   The following photo is of Geeps looking at the framed picture that Gennifer had put on display of Hannah and Greg and I.  It was taken several weeks ago at Hannah's school on Grandparents day, but we had not seen it yet.    Gennifer purchased it and saved it to give to me on my birthday.

I love the natural smile on Hannah's face.  And the fact that she is holding each of our hands.  And the way her little feet are turned in, wearing her fancy new sandals.

The day before my birthday, is my friend Jae's birthday.  We have celebrated our birthdays together for all of the years of our friendship.  Sometimes on the slopes of Big Bear Mountain.  Sometimes at Glen Ivy Spa.  Sometimes doing a quilt shop hop.  Sometimes lunch or dinner.  But always, we do something together.  We went out to dinner tonight with our husbands to celebrate.  No pictures, but these were taken on her birthday evening at her house.

Life is good.  And I am blessed!!!!!
