A quick cake

This cake did NOT turn out the way I had wanted it too. First off, I had too little time, and secondly, it is best not to babysit while filling cake orders! I had made a gumpast R that was going to be the cake topper here, but my precious girl saw it and thought it was playdoh, and she took a bite. UH OH!!! So plan B went into effect since I didn't have time to make another one and let it dry. Being that this was for a man, I didn't want anything frou-frou either, so since the cake was a chocolate spice, and filled with apples, the autumn leaves on top made sense. They called yesterday and left a message on my phone that they loved the cake! Phew!
