November News...noteworthy...and not

November is here, and with it, that busy, hustle bustle time! The birthdays roll around in our family about 2 a week from now til January. The holiday season kicks off, and with it, busy days, parties, and full calendars. Our third grandbaby is due towards the end of the month. Erika starts a new job and a new life for herself and Noah. I begin a new schedule as well, watching Noah M-W. And weekends off for all of us will mean more freedom to go and do for Greg and I. Through all of the craziness, and all of the change, I get such comfort from those little things I love best. The first picture says it all.....
This photo, expresses my love of this time of year, and my love of quilting.
This is a corner in my living room where Greg and I both love to read. It looks out onto the front yard, and it is so peaceful here.
Pumpkins....ah, I love them. Real ones, ceramic, fabric, whatever, I love pumpkins! Love to decorate with them, and love to eat anything that has pumpkin in it!!! This ceramic soup tureen I bought a couple weeks ago at Marshall's. I love it. I always wish I could leave all of my fall things out all year. They are by far and away my favorite. So, happy Fall everyone. I hope you have a cozy corner somewhere in your house too where you can sneak away for a few moments every day to regroup as the hustle and bustle of the holiday season approaches!
Oh, and one last photo. My Mom sent this to Drew. And I got the biggest kick out of it! She is taking all of her grandsons out to Ruth's Chris for a feast in a couple weeks. These are all great big, grown boys and men. Ranging in age from 15 to 28. ALL are huge eaters! All love their Grandma dearly! And all are super excited for this fun night with their Grandma. Oh to be a fly on the wall!!!!!! You may have to double click to read the invitation.

We all have a lot to be grateful for. I love that we have a special time of the year that we can reflect on our blessings. How wonderful that our time of gratitude is shortly before we celebrate the birth of the Savior...our greatest gift and reason to be grateful. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh, I love the invitation to the grandsons from your mother. How funny that she reminded them to have a nice haircut and to dress nice. We all need to do that more.
