I know better, I know better, I know better!

Last night at 6:00 p.m., I had said goodbye to Erika and Noah, Gennifer had come by to pick up the cupcakes for Tawny's shower that Amy ordered, and I still had to decorate a few cookies for a baby shower that Erika is going to today. But first, I had to run and pick up Ducey from the groomers, which I totally forgot about! I hadn't eaten, or stopped for a minute ALL day. Erika accidently forgot Noah's shoes, so first stop was PayLess for tennies, then to do the marketing, then to put it all away, feed Noah, nap for Noah, while I decorated the cupcakes, then playtime outside for Noah, then the day was done, Greg was home, the kids were gone, but I still had to decorate these cookies. Unfortunately, I had to decline an invitation with my BFF for beverages at her place, spouses included, and get to work. I should have gone to have a beverage first Maryrose. These cookies were my worst EVER! Thank goodness it was not a paid order, but rather a favor for my daughter. I did however, love the colors to match the invitation. But my hand was so unsteady, and I was just plain tired by the time I began at 9:00 p.m., that I had no creative juices flowing whatsoever. Oh well. They are sure to taste yummy, but hopefully they won't mind the shaky work.
Boxed and ready for Eri to pick them up.

Well if that is your worst work, it is still 10 times better than what I could do!
I think for me decorating cookies would be sort of like when I had to learn to do acrylic nails in cosmetology school. Mine were always the thickest, lumpiest, ugliest things you'd ever seen. I just don't have that patience for the details. I think they look great, I'd eat them.

What? Are you kidding? Those are adorable! I love those and the cookies in your header! You are the cookie queen I say! That looks like a lot of work. And it sounds like you need a REST after that day. Did you get one today? Maybe tomorrow??? (((Kris)))

I don't know how you do all you do.

Thanks Genny!
Lisa, thanks. But truly the cookies were not too pretty. I didn't have enough time to allow for drying between layers, and I was just so darned tired when doing them, that I wasn't very steady handed. So....that is what happens.
How are you? Long time no hear!!!!

You are way too hard on yourself, the colors are very pretty and the cookies turned out great. What unsteady hand?
