My Mom took the girls of the family to Pala Casino this weekend to celebrate birthdays. Mom's and my niece Deanna's were at the end of April, and Gennifer and Erika's are next week. It was such a special treat to get away and enjoy the pool and sunshine, and lots of eating, and relaxing, and laughing, oh my gosh, we laughed so hard at the comedy team of Genny and Erika!! It was a really special treat for my girls, because they got to sneak away without their babies for a bit, and just relax. My sister in law Glenda came too. Really she did. You will have a hard time finding her in pictures, because she runs and hides when she sees a camera come out!!! This was our view all day Saturday!
We had our own private cabana, complete with our own waiter-Gabe, who unfortunately was working so hard bringing us food and drink, that I never got his picture! Our cabana had a telly, a fridge, a safe (to lock away all of our money-NOT) fan, and comfortable seating area, complete with changing room, and chaise lounges and towels and the best part, the little flag on the backs of our chairs to get Gabe's attention when we were thirsty. Having Gennifer and Erika along always ensures the best possible service! "Oh Gabe, we're felling a bit parched!"

Gennifer and Deanna, after she got her darling new haircut. And lucky for us, while Deanna was having her hair cut, the manager to the Pala buffet was also having her hair cut. Apparently, the comedy team of Gennifer and Erika, so thoroughly entertained Zoe, the buffet restaurant manager, that she invited us all to come to breakfast on Sunday for a Sunday Brunch on her. It was SO good! If only I had my camera!!!!!!! OH MY!!!!!

What a fun weekend!!!!! I'm jealous.
It was so fun! Thank you Mom for driving! AND a BIG thanks to Grandma! And a big thanks to Zoe (who I can blame my recently added 5 lbs on). It was a relaxing and fun getaway. When can we go again!?
