Goin' Bananas

It has been so hot here that bananas are getting over ripe in just a couple days. So instead of toss them out today, I made two loaves of banana nut bread. One plain, and one is chocolate chip/banana nut. I pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the tops just out of the oven. This batch could have been taken out a tad earlier, but it will still be yummy. I also made a big batch of chocolate chip cookies for my nephew Joe's birthday. Yikes......I think I hear my Weight Watcher's leader calling my name....." Oh Kris....where have you been? Get your ample fanny back in here!" Okay-okay, I'm coming....Manana!

Yes indeed it did smell "delicouso" (as diego & dora would say) I made walnut brownies (Jer's favorite) and chocolate chip cookies too & I was good I didn't have any! YAY I did however indulge into a Golden Spoon ... Me & Noah shared it. :)

Mmm, bananas and chocolate are always a good combo in my book! I have three bananas just chillen on my counter right now that I'm "prepping" for some banana chocolate chip bread myself. I have an excellent recipe that my Auntie shared with me and I've been dying to try it. Mmmmm!!!!

P.S. Butter poured on top?? Ahhhh delicious.

I love banana bread or any kind of bread for that matter and Chicken Little is one of my favorite movies. Sadly, I have no grandkids to watch it with - still great flick.
