Sleepover at Gammy & Geeps

Noah will be staying here with Gammy and Geeps for a couple nights. Erika has "Swine Flu" and is feeling absolutely awful! She came down not feeling well on Sunday afternoon. And it gained speed Monday and Tuesday, and when she woke up this morning she knew she was SICK!!! She went right in and the doctor confirmed that it was in fact Swine Flu with a nasal smear test. Jeremy packed Noah up for a couple of overnights, and I picked him up so she could rest and get better. I talked to her a little while ago, and she sure isn't better yet! We are crossing fingers that none of the babies get it!!!!!!
Yesterday Gammy took a peek into one of her favorite antique stores and found this 18 wheeler. Noah has been in heaven ALL day. I put new batteries in it, and lucky for him, ( and not so lucky for me!) it has sirens, engine sounds, headlights, blinkers, and oh, did I mention sirens??? ALL DAY......and I think I put in the good kind of batteries too!!!! I finally went over and casually turned it upside down and flipped the off switch. He thinks it broke! Maybe Gammy will "fix" it tomorrow.

It even has a ramp that slides in and out for loading and off loading the cars. TA-DAAAA!!!!
This has been the best money I have spent in a good long while!
Eri....sure hope you will be in the pink soon. Love you....

Kristy,
I posted a comment on my blog, but will here too. I highly suggest that Erika take the Tamiflu prescription!!! I did not take it, Jonathan did and only had it for 2 days. I'm still not better, although I think it's something other than the flu and have apts. tomorrow.
I hope that Erika fights this quickly, if I had it to do all over again, I would TAKE THE TAMIFLU!!!

That made the rounds over here too. No one but my grandson was actually tested, but we all had the exact same symptoms 3 or 4 days after he got it. It was NOT fun. My poor little grandson missed 5 days of school and was sick a full 10 days and he took the tamiflu...it's funny though the other two got it too and weren't nearly as sick. I was sick a good 2weeks, but have definitely been sicker before. I think it just depends, you just never know who it is who is going to get bad. Hope your daughter is up and around soon, and meantime, ENJOY your grandson. I have done that same thing btw, a LOUD toy was suddenly "broke" don't know what happened, haha they occasionally make miraculous recoveries too...oh the joys of Grandmahood...

Awww. Those are cute pictures of Noah!

As for Erika, I feel so bad for her!! Especially because she always seems to get hit really bad with things when she gets sick. I sure hope she's doing better SOON!! And I'm praying that none of our babies get it either.

Also, your garlic lasagna was DIVINE!! I loved every bite of it!!

Poor Erika!! I sure hope the kids don't get it, that would not be fun. Thank goodness Gamma and Geeps live really close by!

Really cute pics of Noah!
