My Son The Music Man

My son is a gifted musician. He taught himself to play guitar, when he was 14, and he plays both accoustic and electric, as well as harmonica and some piano. He has a beautiful voice, and he writes all of his own music. He has had a gig playing in a coffee house, and has played at our church during worship, and he has been asked by someone who heard his music on Myspace to play at a music club in Upland in February. That's awesome. I always wished music came that natural for me.
I listened to his song "Try" through the link on Genn's page. He has a WONDERFUL voice Kris!! How exciting for you. My middle son's wife has also played at some local coffee shops around here. It was sooo fun. She plays more in Long Beach now when she does. But the fact that your son writes the music and lyrics makes him SUPER talented. How proud you must be. Be sure and keep us posted when he plays in Upland, as that is my neighborhood you know. What church do you all go to? Is he still at Concordia? Anyway, congrats to him on the gig and have a wonderful day...
I really want to hear him sing, I think my speakers took a dump. I can't wait, I'm going to check it out when I go to the office! I'm sure he is super talented!! I want to go see him play!
I am going to listen when I get home. I have always enjoyed listening to Drew...he is soooo talented. You deserve to be a proud mama.
