Spring Bear

I ran into Vons the other day for one thing.  I was walking to the checkout and this darling Teddy Bear caught my eye.  I touched her fur as I passed, and continued walking to check out.  I got in line, and then got out.  I had to have that bear.  She has the softest fur, and such a darling little face with that pink nose and pink bow in her hair.  I couldn't leave her there.
Spring is indeed springing all around me.  It is my birthday month.  And it is a VERY BIG one this year too.  I usually celebrate ALL month long with my friends...lunching, Glen Ivy, shopping.  But this year....not happening!!!  We are up to our eyeballs in doing some much needed home improvements here at Grover's Grove.   I have been very busy with scheduling all of that.  And it has just been sort of  "crazy" here to say the least.  I don't have much to blog about.  But hopefully I will be back to my old self soon, and blogging about the things that make "It's A Sweet Life" sweet.  Til then....I leave with you another picture of the bear I could not resist, the bear that put a little gladness in my heart....on aisle 4 in Vons..

I too just love the little things that jump out at you that make your day a little sweeter!
I have been meaning to tell you for some time now that at Costco they have a bottle of wine "KRIS" made in Italy, a Pinot, that reminds me of you every time I pass it. I finally bought a bottle for the night Donavon came. It's a goodin, I know your not a huge winno like some of us other in the family, but you might need a bottle during all of the household repairs ;)

She's absolutely adorable. I can see why you just couldn't leave her there, haha...

Home projects can be soo confusing and all, but soo worth it in the end. Have a wonderful day Kris.

Greetings from Glen Ivy! We're bummed you won't be able to join us this year to celebrate your birthday, but wish you the best with all your home improvement projects. Keep enjoying the little moments in life and continue to celebrate the big ones - like your birthday! Cheers to you from everyone at Glen Ivy!
