Leapin' Lizards!!!

I was out sweeping the back patio this morning, and I saw this little guy.  I put him in a jar and brought him in to Noah.
"Thanks Gamma!!!!   COOL!!"
"Can I bring him home to Mommy?"
" No, we have to let him go in a minute, so he can go find HIS Mommy.  He is a baby."
"I will call him Bobo."  And so he was named.
"Good-bye Bobo.  I will look for you in the garden.  Go find your Mommy now."

Hi Kris, Love this-reminds me of being the one to catch the toads, lizards etc for my girls and grands. So glad Noah decided to let him go find his momma.
Precious living science. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Noreen

One time Jonathan surprised me in the car with snakes and lizards from the wood line in MO~I had never screamed so loud! ;)

I love this age. They are easy to convince that those cute little creatures need to go home to Mommy....in my case, my dad found a field mouse and brought it in a big pan to my son. Well, 'she' (unnamed) had to be taken to the edge of the woods and left in a pile of sawdust with some bunny food to wait for her Mommy to find her.

I'm pretty sure BoBo's dad lives in my backyard here in Arizona, he's huge.

Hi Kris!
Welcome to the crochet addiction ;)
I saw your comment on my "Yarny" blog, and sure I will try to help you out. I don't understand exactly which of Lucy's (Attic24) patterns you want to make, so if you could email me a link to one of her pictures or the blog post she made, I'll do my best to explain.

My email: mia(at)vickevira(dot)se

Have a nice day!

You're the best grandma ever, Kris. My gkids would think they died and went to heaven if I brought them a Bobo in a jar.

Oh lizards how I have a love hate relationship with you! I had one in the shower with my tickling my leg. I thought it was a piece of stay hair and looked down to remove when and all I saw was a big eyed lizard on my leg looking up at me. Yuck!!! I screamed so loud my fiancée thought I was hurt. Every since then I stay far away from them!

What a dream to have all those oranges on hand! Humm what would I do with an orange orchard……….
