Big Bear

We were up in the mountains this weekend.  We picked a good time to be up there too, as it was 112 here at home one day.  UGH!!  I took hardly any pictures this time.  Not the usual for me, I know.  It was very crowded on the lake.  But the weather was spectacular!!  I did get quite of bit of this in while sitting out on the back deck in the mornings.
Noah loved to help Geeps drive the boat.
We ate burgers at Get The Burger.  Look at that "do!"
We spent a lot of time on the lake.
Fishing and floating, and snacking, and lounging.
Only a couple more weekends left to be able to use the boat on the lake before it gets too cold.  Always nice to get away, and always nice to be home.

Looks like great fun! I love Noah's hair, if I ever have a little boy (fingers crossed, one day), I will do his hair like that for a while. I think it's so cute!! Glad that you had a nice time away, love all your crochet work!

Hi Kris, So glad you had a great weekend-it looks so fun! Family times are simply the best. We are going on a family vacation in a couple of weeks to Oceanside and then to Lake Tahoe-I can't wait.
Have a wonderful evening.

I love that do! My 11 yr. old son had it and refused to cut it off until this summer.....boys and mohawks are the cutest. That pic looks so cozy.

The lake looks so nice and inviting! One of these days hopefully it will work out for us to go up with you guys. I want to take the girls to the zoo up there some time, and our passes for SA Zoo get us in for free!

I hope your hair is feeling better!

What a much more fun weekend it looks like you had than us. I so do love your blanket colors. Can't wait for the finish and the name. Oh, the name? What could it be? Now, it I could just find a lake in the mountains soon, I will be happy. Just found out we will have internet up at the cabin in Vermont. I couldn't be more excited to be able to be in touch.
