I finished these while in Big Bear. They are for my Nana, and I know she doesn't check my blog, so it is safe to post this.
They are called pocketbook slippers because off of your feet they look like a little purse. With the idea being to put a little gift tucked inside the slipper/purse. Slip them onto your feet, and they are little Maryjane slippers. On mine, you can't see the strap across the top of your foot because I put these pom poms on.
I used two stands of yarn, which makes a nice thick and comfy slipper. I am already working on another pair.

Just read your previous post. A long weekend in Big Bear (in April) was our last trip together as a couple before our first son was born in May. We had a great time and would have gone back many times had we not moved out of state.
