Then & Now

Day 3 photography lesson.  To post a photo of your loved one, then and now.

I think he had a hat on prior to this photo being taken.  And Ducey scratched him on the nose the other day when he was playing with him.  I thought you would get a kick out of seeing us 32 years ago!!
My son is currently wearing his hair long.  And I do not like it at all. But today when I looked at this photo of us 32 years ago, and remembered how his Dad wore his hair, I had to laugh.  Drew's hair has the same little flip over the ear that his Dad's had when he wore it long.
Here is a picture of Drew from last night on his birthday.
This morning  I was doing  a lesson in math and colors with my grandson Noah.  He wanted beans for breakfast.  JELLY beans, that is.  I made a deal with him.  He ate the rest of his applesauce, and he could pick 10 beans.
Hmmmm, which ones should I pick?  Only 10 Gamma????
Can I pick 11?
He picked 10, no more, no less.  And he counted each bean out, along with the color.
Shhhhh!  Don't tell his Mommy!
I am off to do some work in my sewing room.  My Bloomies are selling SO well!  I will be restocking this weekend, and listing more colors.  I am heading in to watch Idol now.
G'night.

I love old photos - you make a great couple and your husband looks like a lot of fun in the "new" photo!

It makes me laugh how kids always try to push it just that little bit further. 10 beans...11 beans. Can I stay up five more minutes? The list is never ending!

Also, thanks for inputting on my discussion posts yesterday. I'm really hoping that by doing these sorts of posts we can all get to know each other better. :)

I love that look of concentration on his face while he's figuring out his ten jellybeans! I wish that was the hardest thing I had to think about....growing up is stinkeroo :)

You have some very handsome men in your family, Kris. I love going through "then and now" photographs. What a great idea to practice counting and colors with jelly beans.

What a sweet post. While it is wonderful to see photos of the older men in your life, the little guy is the one who stole my heart. You can tell him my lips are sealed about the jelly beans. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary

Such concentration on those jelly beans. He's adorable!
As for your husband, he's the same--just a little more mustache and a little less hair.

Best,
Bonnie
