4th of July & Sea World

It has been a week since I have posted.  A busy week!  I still haven't posted any 4th of July pictures.  I wound up getting sick on the 4th, and didn't even use my camera much.  Then spent the entire following week not feeling well, so still no photos.  Here are just a few.  Ducey didn't like the hat.
These yummy appetizers I had for the first time a few weeks ago when we went camping.  Our friend Cheryl made these for everyone one night.  So simple, and soooo good!!
You take salami ( I used a pepper crusted salami) and spread a little bit of softened or whipped cream cheese on the salami.  Then top with some peperoncinis ( I bought a jar of the sliced peperoncinis).  After topping with some peppers, fold the salami over like a taco and put a toothpick through it to secure it.  These are so tasty!!!!  You can't stop eating them!  Try will love them too!
Well, that's it for my 4th of July photos.  I started to feel crummy that day, and got worse as the day wore on.
Yesterday, we went to Sea World with Gennifer and Erika and all of the grandkids!  Eri was going to go by herself  She and Noah, that is.  But I asked her if she minded if we came along, and then we asked Genny to join us with the girls.  Drew had to work, and so did Jake.
We had such a fun day!  It was hot, and crowded, but we had a great time!  We thoroughly enjoyed watching the kids enjoy it so much.  I took a lot of pictures.  But I will only share a few.

Blogger is taking forever to upload photos, and I am falling asleep so I will do another post tomorrow.  Sorry for such a long absence.  Thank you to all of you who emailed and called to check on me.  I guess it is not the norm for me to go so long between postings!!  I am going to try to catch up with everyone in the next few days.  See you soon.

Great pics of your adorable grand kids. That appetizer looked like heart burn city for me. But oh my hubby would love it. Anything with cream cheese is yummy.

Looks like you had fun at Sea World! Our closest one is in San Antonio, about 4 hours away. We can't wait to take Boyd for the first time.

I am SOOOO making that appetizer. Thank you so much for sharing. I am printing it out now and sticking to the fridge.

Have a good week!

It always amazes me when I hear that someone goes to Sea World or Disneyland for a day, and on a whim. Must be nice to be so close. It would take lots of planning and at least a 3 day weekend to get me there. Looks like you had a great time.

I was going to email you, but I resisted. I know those little break are needed every now and then. So glad you are back from Sea World and feeling better. Can't wait to see more. FYI- I may be sporadic this week, as I'm such a big baby with this major heat wave we have going on here. OH, and possibly a little to crabbie for blogland.... giggle-giggle, but I'll be around catchin up on all my reading.
