Me and my assistant making donuts.

These are the applesauce and cinnamon with maple glaze.  They were delicious.  I baked them between 3-4 minutes.  They were yummy, but a tad too soft.  I will try 4-5 minutes per batch next time.  Noah is requesting chocolate donuts next.  And I want to make some with shiny pink frosting with Hannah and Claire.  Shiny pink is Hannah's favorite color!  I went to the cake supply and got sprinkles for us to put on top too.  I also got some Halloween sprinkles.  Fun little gadget.  Using a coupon at Bed, Bath & Beyond makes for cheap fun with the Baby Cakes machine!
Happy Friday.  So much going on. Trout Fest in Big Bear.  A baby shower for Whitney.  A movie I want to see.  So much to do........
PS  I must have selected a flattering outfit for Blog Sugar, because several have asked if I have lost weight.  NO....NO...NO!!! However, I do have a good 30-40 pounds that I NEED to lose!!!!   I wanted to shed LAST years winter coat BEFORE this winter came.  I am running out of time!!!!   Perhaps buying the Donut Maker was not such a good idea after all?  But thank you for the nice compliments just the same!!!

I don't think it's right that you got that donut machine AFTER I left. They look yummy! I'm thinking pumpkin donuts. I may need a machine now. Have fun fishing and be safe.

Oh Kris...A donut maker sounds just wonderful....how I would LOVE one...but I just don't dare. Not enough discipline....sigh. I will enjoy hearing about yours though, lol.

There is just always something to do isn't there? Enjoy your week-end!

Of course you have a donut maker. I would expect non the less. What fun. Did I tell you my friend brought me 2 dozen Cider donuts last weekend from the Apple Orchard. I about exploded by Tuesday...

I didn't need to know this existed. Donuts are my weakness...well...one of them, anyway.

NOW you've gone and done it! I went straight over to Amazon and bought me one of those things! There is nothing better than a fresh made donut! And my favorite is applesauce donuts which you can never find in the store. I hope they're easy to make! I'll tell hubby that it's his birthday present. LOL!!
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
PS. You are perfect and beautiful.. and young. :-)

The doughnut machine is so cute, I have never seen one before. I agree the doughnut machine would be hard to stay away from while on a diet. Why is it we can always loose the weight, but it somehow finds us again. I guess we don't loose it, just temporarily miss place it.

I think I need one of these!! Ok, maybe I don't need one...but I sure would like one! I think I would be a much better mom with one of these machines. ;)

The donuts look delicious! Are they cake or yeast donuts? Do they taste like they are fried? I have never seen that gadget either but I think I might need one.

I have been wanting one of those too. I never go to doughnut shops because I will eat them all but if I have those in the house I will eat them for sure. Are they lower in fat since you don't deep fry them?

Hi Kris,
You know girl, maple just happens to be my favorite kind of doughnut. There is nothing that says Fall quite like a donut. This would be so fun for my family Halloween party. I think I may have to run out and buy one. Although, not such a good idea for me either. I need to shed some pounds for sure. Guess I'll just have to shopo for a slimming outifit instead. lol!

I'm thinking that Baby Cakes machine (which looks like such a fun machine for sure!!) should really be helping with the weight loss program - ha...just kidding. But so funny you mentioned it at the end of a donut post:)

That donut machine looks like so much fun, and your donuts came out so pretty! I'd love to have one of those, but I would eat way too many donuts. I just love it though. Hope you have a good weekend!

Donut Maker!!! Noah must be in heaven over at his Grandma's!
I looked at the post below. You went to a blog event? How was it? Is it just a gathering or do they give you blogging pointers? I'm sure it was a blast either way!!

Happy Sunday Kris, Boy those donuts look good-makes me want to head to Whole Foods to get some gluten free chocolate donuts.
Loved seeing your Noah licking the spoon. So cute. Hubby will be away next week so I can just eat salads and maybe shed a few pounds.
Have a great evening my friend.
Hugs, Noreen

I saw one of those donut machines in the store the other day, I stood and stared at it wondering if the donuts would come out as good as they look. Yours look so good, now I wish I would have bought it!
