All The Way From The UK

I placed my very first international order!  My friend Neicee from
INSOMNIAC with a hook  had mentioned about a great deal for yarn in England.  It was called the Lucy Pack, after a very well known and loved blogger that all of us Yarny Folk know.  They were offering this 17 skein of yarn with NO SHIPPING charges.  I placed my order immediately upon reading Neicee's post, and in a few short days, my orders was processed and shipped, at no charge! Yesterday, this was waiting for me at my door!

That's right.  RoYal mail..from Deramores.....in ENGLAND.  And oh it is so pretty.

These are happy, fun colors.  I can't wait to work with them.  But first, I will finish my Mum's blanket!   Looky there, I order yarn from England and start talking with a British accent!
It's Friday people.  What are YOU doing this weekend?   We have a lot going on here at The Ponderosa.  See you soon.
Cheerio

Pretty yarn. I saw Neicee's post and was tempted myself, but didn't this time. Enjoy your purchase, can't wait to see what you make. :-)

The yarn looks just way too cute displayed in your basket. It will be hard to give that up and use them.

I ordered my yarn yesterday when Kate let me know it was back in stock! I can't wait to see it in person and play with it and stare at it and rearrange it and stare some more. No plans for the weekend, but it is my wedding anniversary on Sunday (19 years) and my b-day next week. With the Cap sick, I'm sure we will just be taking it easy. Oh man, he has it bad. I'm skeered I'm gonna get it.

Ohhhh... you're so lucky you got the "Lucy Pack" free shipping.. I got mine from one of the other companies and the shipping cost as much as the yarn!! I'm using it for my neat ripple right now. Can't wait to see what you're doing with yours.

We're going to meet my 2 sisters and 1 brother and their spouses at this great steak restaurant for a family dinner tomorrow. Fun!

((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Love the British accent, I think I ever hear it way over here in my neck of the woods (that is with a red neck accent). I would hate to use it, it looks so pretty sitting in the wicker basket. Beautiful colors, what will they become:)

That yarn is WAY too cute in that basket to ever use! Love how cheery it looks. I do not knit or crocet. Wished I did sometimes. Tried it as a teen. Did it way too tight. So pretty it slmost makes me want to order it just for looks. lol! Now your royal highness can sit upon her lovely throne (cute chair) and knit.
