Words To Live By!!!

Yesterday I was nearly hit head on, on Foothill Pkwy by a man making a Uturn, very fast, while texting.  I was at a red light, waiting to turn left.  There would have been nowhere for me to go, but to get hit!  My heart stopped, and then I was just so thankful that my grandson was not with me, as I had just dropped him off at school and was on my way to hear Lura speak and have lunch with her.  So these words spoke to me today!!

 XO  Kris

Behind the wheel we are all at the mercy of other people's good or bad judgment. I'm really glad you didn't get hit. Love the sign!

Oh man, so glad you were not hit and that Noah wasn't with you. It makes me so mad when I see someone texting and driving...putting everyone else's lives in danger. Love the sign!

I gave a student an ear full the other day when he almost hit me. Thing is...he apologized. That was nice.

Ugh!! You'd think people would learn by now to just stay off the phone while driving.. It's just not worth it.. Glad you're ok, and glad he didn't hit you!!!

So thankful to hear you were not injured! Seeing people text while driving makes me so angry, they are endangering more lives then just their own. I know some states have passed laws against it but others seem determine not to listen.
Have a great week!

blessings,
Jill

That is scary. I have honked and yelled at people that I see texting. Of course, I guess then I'm being dumb and not watching the road....but still! :)

Great words to live by, for sure. I was so happy when Oprah did the big campaign about no texting and driving. I try to not even act like I have a phone when I'm in the car. It's just way too dangerous.

xoxo.

I know just what you are talking about. I can't believe the people that text, talk and drive around here. It's even a law in IL now text and hands free at all time. Speaker phone OK. But still where are the cops when you need them. Thank goodness you all were OK.

Wow, that was a close call for you. So glad you weren't hit. Truly, there is a time and place for everything we do and texting and in my opinion, using a cell phone even hands free is dangerous while driving so I won't do it.

In response to your previous post, you are blessed with so many friends! Love the sign.

so glad it turned out in your favor...love the "oh so True" sign...it is amazing how many people still text while driving. The roads will get worse as the season's shopping increases and people are thinking of things to do. Stay safe....Debb

Kris,
So happy you are OK and that your grandson was already dropped off. I can only imagine how you must have said a few prayers yourself after the scare. I always get pins and needles and tingly after a scare like that.
Love the churches Words!! Thanks for sharing and have a good day. Many blessings, xoRobin❤
