Holiday Cowls & Bloomie's

Last night I finished up all of my holiday orders for Cowls & Bloomies.
Thea's order for a Cowl  in Tweed, and three Bloomies, in Holiday Red. Blue Jean, and Martini.

Jackie, your order for one Tweed Cowl with Martini Bloomie, and one Bone Cowl with Mustard Bloomie is all ready for pick up today.
This was a custom order for three Holiday Red Bloomies for Teacher's Gifts.   The cost for Bloomie is 15.00 dollars.  To package like seen in photo is addtional 5.00 dollars.
These make a great gift for teachers, and secretaries.  I can also put an alligator clip on the back by request, so it can be worn in your hair as well as pinned onto clothing and scarves.  If you would like to order these before Christmas, let me know soon.  I also have white, cream, green and gray.  Will post other colors tomorrow.
This is new cowl design.  Stitched in a very soft yarn.  May be worn with or without a Bloomie, or crochet flower.

Remember the leopard print pillow I made for Erika?  She had bought two yards of slightly different leopard prints for me to make some basket liners with the one print, and two pillows for her new sofa with the other print.
I was only able to get one pillow made with this print.  The store where she got it didn't have any more,  and since it was a Halloween ordered print, they wouldn't be getting more in.  So, since I had a scrap of it left, and she wanted two of the same size pillows, I bought a yard of tan micro suede and used the scrap I had left to make her second pillow.  I slightly shirred the sides, and then sewed that to the center piece of the front.  Then using those big funky wooden buttons I bought for the pillows, I centered it on the middle of the shirred leopard print piece.  I tufted the button on the first pillow.  But this one looked better just sewn to the front without tufting it.

I took them over to her yesterday, and I actually like them better this way, looking slightly different.
Okay..two weeks left until Christmas.  Are you ready?  I'm not!  I still have most of my shopping to do.  My cards to get out, and wrapping and baking, and.....and....and!!!  But right now, I am going to go have another cup of coffee!  Happy Monday!!!
XO  Kris

May be worn with or without a bloomie (or a wedding dress :)

I like the second pillow too - looks store-bought (and I mean that in a good way :)

I still have to wrap and write cards and all that jazz...but my shopping is almost all wrapped up.

I can't believe how quickly you're whipping these out. I crocheted a scarf over the weekend and I can't imagine making more than one. Great job! I also love the red infinity scarf. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Kris, I just adore you! You are so talented. You inspire me to learn a skill and start making something. My mom is wonderful with knitting and crocheting and I haven't been able to wrap my head around it yet, but now I want to. Have a great day!
