Lacy Scarf

I can't believe it is Thursday!  I tell you, the older I get, the faster time goes.  Kind of scary actually!!
I finished my lacy scarf the other day.  I LOVE this yarn!  It is not a fast knit though.  It is fiddly, and slow going.  But the finished scarf is so lacy and pretty.  Very light weight, which means you could wear it any time of the year here.
It is not an infinity scarf, I just closed up the ends to form the heart.  It is long, and can be worn many different ways.  My friend Viki has placed another order for the yarn, and our whole Knitty Biddy group ordered several skeins, so as soon as that comes in, I will be back at it.  Thinking Christmas gifts here.
Yesterday I was at fresh & easy.  Have you seen these cookies?
Oh my goodness, if you are a lemon lover, or just a cookie lover, like me.....you are going to love these!!!!   YUM!!
About time to go for a swim.
See ya!
XO  Kris

mix together to form dough-roll into balls put on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. Cook at 375 for about 7 mins. cool

Glaze

4 cups powdered sugar
3 T vegetable oil

3 T water
zested lemon

Mix till smooth drizzle over top.
Enjoy!

Let me know if you try them ;-)

Have a great night!

Love the scarf, I wish it would cool down here so I could wear a scarf. It is even to hot to wear a necklace, it just sticks to you.

What a beautiful scarf! I was in a shop a couple of weeks ago and saw a really pretty one and I immediately thought of you. I very rarely wear scarves. I love them on other people but when I wear one I feel like I'm impersonating a grown up.

Oh what a pretty scarf Kris! I have seen several in Annie's Crochet books and they are tempting. I made oodles of scarves last fall and winter. Gave so many away that there would be no need for anyone to complain to me about a "cold neck" lol. I see you have been up to plenty by your last few postings. I really need to take some time and check it all out. Scorching weather here in Ohio, weeds are doing great though and that my dear is why we will be hauling out the mowers today. I dread it, but it needs to be done. Have a great and safe weekend.

Hi Kris, your scarf turned out great and they will make nice Christmas gifts. Haven't seen that brand of cookie around here, but they sound good. Enjoy your weekend. Heather
