NyQuil, Yarn & Birthdays

Hello again. I know I have not been a good blogger lately. I am sorry for the infrequent posts. Last Sunday when we came home from the mountains, I came home with a whopper of cold! It had me down several days. I feel much better now though!! I completed a couple more orders. One was for a Holiday Red infinity scarf. I know it looks much better on the pretty gal that bought it. I loved this color and how this scarf turned out. Here it is worn long. ( Sorry about the lovely sweats I am wearing )
I especially love this scarf doubled, and worn as a cowl.
The other one I made, I changed the gauge, and used a smaller hook, and it is shorter and wider.
I got out of my sweats, put on makeup, and went to our granddaughters birthday party today.  It was a bowling party, and the kids had a ball!
Today was Claire's actual birthday.  She is now 4 years old!
Poor little Hannah was a bit under the weather today.  She was not herself.  Gennifer had them in the most darling outifts!  Sequined skirts, with neon t shirt tops, with heart applique in sequins.  So cute!!!
They had music videos going, and the kids were dancing and having a great time!
Geeps and I bowled. I am horrible!  But I did get a strike!  Erika is quite good.  She and Geeps and Jake were in the lead.  My nephew Chad, and niece Kaylen came and bowled with us too.
My brother David came too.
Gennifer with a couple of her girlfriends.
Gennifer and Jake were running around like crazy, making sure all of their guests were taken care of.  They are such great hosts!
We sang Happy Birthday to the girls, and by then, our Hannah was really not up to par, and ready to go home.  Poor baby!
It was a lot of fun.  Happy Birthday to our beautiful girls, Hannah and Claire!!!  We love you bunches!!!
I will be holed up in my sewing room most of the time in next couple of weeks, working hard to prepare for my upcoming boutique.  If you live in the Corona area, and find yourself with some free time on Saturday, December 1st., please come over to see us.  It will be held here at my house.  Contact me for the address if you think you might like to come.  I would love to see you!
Until then.......Be Sweet...as my dear Nana would say.

XO  Kris

Kris,
I can't believe how long your hair is. Wow that was fast. Love the new scarf, wish I lived by so I could come to your boutique. I still didn't start on those granny squares, something always seems to come up.

I think I need to hook myself a cowl. I always have the hardest time with scarves--I can't get them on just right, I feel like I'm choking myself, the ends slip around... A cowl just stays put and lays just where you'd want it to. You'll have to be sure you share pics of your boutique--it sounds lovely so far!

I love that pretty red scarf. I'm sorry you have had such a yucky cold. It seems like they take so long to get rid of. The birthday party looked so sweet and cute, although poor Hannah, bless her heart! :(

Get well! xo

Are you not the cutest, even with a cold. Wow, is your hair getting long. Any special vitamins? I need to grow mine out and cut it off. This mid stuff is hard to workout with. Hope you a feeling better this weekend.

Kris, Glad you are feeling better-you have probably gotten run down with all your hard work. Wish I could come to your sale! Whether you are in sweats or dressed and ready to go, you still look fantastic. Loved seeing the birthday party-we haven't had one that was bowling before-should suggest it to my daughter.
Happy Sunday my friend!
Hugs, Noreen

I love the infinity scarf you made for me, Kris! It hasn't been cold enough yet to wear it but I know it will be used quite a bit very soon!
