Christmas Is Coming!

December is ZOOMING by.  I dropped off these Holiday Earwarmers for my two darling granddaughters this morning.
They were still lounging in their jammies when I got there.   They are still darling!

Such fresh faced, pretty models!!!  I have kept very busy with orders for Christmas.  I have one more big order to fill this week.
I had my Knitty Biddies meeting yesterday.  Meredith gave this fabulous idea for ornaments for my yarny friends.  Thanks Meredith!!!
And they each got a little cotton soap bag with a nice bar of soap inside.
How do you like my new yarn bag?  It is hand knit, with felted straps and accents around pockets and on bottom.  There are six pockets on the outside, and it holds a lot of yarn.  I bought it at one of my favorite Thrifts.  It was 3.00.  I washed it and loaded it up!  I love it!
We  have two parties tonight.  Better go get pretty.  Tootle Loo!!
XO Kris

You are so right, your grand daughters are darlings. Their ear warmers are very Christmasy. The ornaments from Mereknits pattern are the perfect little gift for yarn buddies. Yours turned out really cute. I want to make some too, but my bead tote is on the bottom of some other totes and in the closet...right now I don't have the energy to dig it out. I spent 3 hours this morning and 2 hours this evening shoveling snow the old fashioned way, for a nice total of 5 hours. It is still snowing. I want it to stop! I had to hit the Tylenol bottle. I will be paying for all that shoveling tomorrow.
(((HUGS))) Susanne :)

"Oh pretty!!" I said when I saw your Grand Girls in their new ear warmers, Kris :-) [as though you could hear me] I hope to make some of Mere's ornaments this week and loved the way yours turned out! And your soap bags make lovely gifts, too...thanks for showing us! Your bag is a great thrift find as well. Hope you are having fun at your parties. I got to have lunch and a happy visit today with friends who have moved here from the East Coast. xx

The ear warmers are adorable, and they look so cute on the girls! I forwarded that picture of the yarn ornaments to my mom, to share with her knitting group....and she loved them! So cute! Hope you had fun at your parties. That is one thing I never really think of, but we just don't ever have any big holiday parties to attend. Maybe we need to throw one?! :)
