Harvest Banner

I made this Harvest banner last night. I have had the pattern for several years. Amazing what you find when you clean out your sewing room! I only have the first stage done. Next I need to stitch the veins and tendrils on the leaves and then machine quilt, and bind. Then I shall post another photo. But I loved the way it turned out. Love the colors.

Oh don't be thinking I am so talented. It is a fool proof project done with Steam a Seam. Very easy. Hannah could to it!

Sure she could....

Okay, that seems way to intricate to be done in one NIGHT! Good for you! I love it! I would love to get a sewing machine one day! You inspire me :)

Thanks Tawny, but it isn't done yet. Just the first step. Tonight I stem stitched the veining into the leaves, and stitched tendrils down the pumpkins. Maybe tomorrow I will machine quilt it, and when it is done I will post a pic.
Get a sewing machine....you will love it! I could suggest a good basic machine for you. Sure wish my girls had an interest in it.

I can't believe how you are just whipping things up like "bewitched". I just finished my blog and when I went to view, you had already posted. It took us about 1 hr. 45 min. from where we live. Not a bad drive and mostly all flat land. It was a great day!

Anita, You are the best seamstress I know! I can remember you whipping out clothes like nobody's business! I was alway so envious of your ability. I have always wanted to learn to sew!!! Remember those tops we made for the last day of 6th grade? Where were strapless bras back then when we needed them??? Glad you made it up to SV.

Hey Kris,
Just read your note about the 30th reunion. He___ "No" for me too! God I would be the biggest loser if I went and I don't mean weight "Ha". Thanks for the update. Also, the bright orange halters were "sick" another haha moment. To think both of us rode bareback on a horse with no bras. I guess we were smokin hot!
