The itch to stitch

I needed a day to myself today. So first I went to see The Women. I LOVED it! Anita you were so right. I just loved the characters in that movie, and I felt a strong kinship with Meg Ryan's character! If you haven't seen it, go see it.
After I came home, I made this fabric basket. I had seen it on a sewing blog which I saw from my friend Sharon's blog. It was very fun to do. I wish it were bigger, and I suppose I can make them bigger, but for a first one, I thought it was really cute. Also, Sharon I told you I would post the picture of the tool caddy I bought at a thrift store last week. Cute isn't it? And love the color!!!

First of all...I havae never heard of the movie you mentioned but I will look it up. I'm always on the prowl for a good movie.

Second...I love your purse. I have a hard time with projects like that. Love it!

I"ve been wanting to see the Women, too.

Nice job on the cute purse. You should think about Etsy.

Thanks girls. It's really not a purse, but a basket. And it is quite small. But I would love to do some in the colors of Claire's new room, that would be fun.
Go see The Women. I just loved it.

Love the sewing caddy Kris. Very cute and love that red.
Great job on the little tote you made. I've got to give that one a try. I've seen it everywhere.
So what time is the pie going to be ready?? You know I'm craving that pie.
