Le Creuset

My favorite cookware for cool weather soups and stews is my Le Creuset Cast Iron. I have three pieces of the blue. This big dutch oven, and then the one size smaller that my Mom gave me. My Dad had dropped the lid at one time, and the handle has a little chip in it. I love using that pot, and I think of my Dad and smile every time I pick up that lid! Then I also have this cute red tomato pot my Mom got me one year for some occasion, that escapes me at the moment. But I love it. I have gotten Gennifer a few pieces too. Bright yellow and bright green. Love their colors! I could make my entire Christmas wish list from Williams & Sonoma, where they have some great colors and pieces of Le Creuset!! Greg, are you listening?

I LOVE love love my Le Crueset stuff too. I need more. I want a casserole dish like I got you in brown. I love my yellow one you got me. You are mistaken on saying you have given me a green one though. ? I have no green. Only my red pot from Grandma, and my yellow one from you, and my smaller red one from Donavon. But green? I'll take some green, where is it? Maybe you bought it for me and hid it and never gave it. Go find it! =)

Thanks Kris. I'll keep adding. I figured I'd start over from the beginging. We love Iz also. We wolked down the isle to his version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" in our wedding. Great memories.

I guess I should get a Le Crueset dutch oven. I have never been able to justify the $ for a pot but if it's worth it.

Shelbie- The money is SO worth it for one of those pots!!! Plus they last a lifetime, so think of how much use you get out of it rather than having to buy a cheap one and replace it in a couple years.

Mom- Yes I am sure you never gave me anything GREEN by Le Crueset. I'm telling you, it's probably hidden somewhere in your house.
