Treats for Ghosts and Ghouls!

Eri and I made treats for the little boys and ghouls that come trick or teating tomorrow. I made the little ghosts out of fondant. Rolled out thin fondant, cut out with a wide mouth jar, let dry over night on a large marshmallow. Drew on faces with an edible marker. The cuppies are spice cake with almond flavored buttercream.

Anita,
I loved the little bags of pumpkin poop. Did you come up with that. Perfect for high school kids. I happen to love that stuff. Candy Corn, that is!
And to Lauri,
Come on over!! I would love to see you standing at my door!!!!

Good grief! And I bought a box of cracker packages at Costco! Of course Gary was here this week and said he couldn't believe that I was giving them crackers and not candy. Maybe that is why we don't have very many kids! Have a great Halloween!

Helen, YOu better watch out. You are liable to get egged on Halloween for giving out crackers. That is as bad as crayons!!!! For Shame!!!

I'm so glad that story touched you today. Isn't it funny how shometimes when you need a little perspective and hope it comes at the right time. I read it when I'm feeling like times are rough. Happy Halloween.
