Claire meets her Great-Great Grandma-"NANA"

Few are lucky enough to know their Great Grandparents. In our family, we have been extra fortunate! There are FIVE generations of women in my family. Hannah and Claire, then their Mommy Gennifer, who is my daughter, and my younger daughter Erika, and then me, and my Mom, and my Mom's Mother-Nana. My Grandma, Nana is 94 years young! She is amazing! She is healthy, and independent, and enjoys life to the fullest! We are SO lucky to have had, and to have in our lives, such amazing role models. Today, my sister in law Glenda, (who runs to hide every time a camera comes anywhere near her) brought Nana out to meet Claire. Nana held Claire for the longest time, and I think Claire just loved it! And I know Nana did too!

She is so cute.. I love that little purple outfit! And I think it's the coolest thing that you have 5 generations of women in your family!

You definitely need to get a 5 generation photo. That doen't happen in every family.

By the way, Claire is beautiful. I'll bet you are loving having her close by.

I love seeing two of the same posts on your blog and Genn's blog, but with different pictures! What a special day for her Nana and Claire to meet and spend time together!

Hi Lauri,
Two years ago on Thanksgiving, just a few days after Genny had Hannah, we did a 5 generation photo with all of us at my Mom's house. We all have them in our home, and I sent the photos to the newspaper, and they came out and interviewed my Nana and did a news photo and story. She was thrilled!!!
