Who's The Sous Chef?

I know my past several posts have all been about my grandkids lately. And to many who view my blog, it is same old, same old. But to me, this is a journal of my life. Right now, most of what I do involves my grandkids these days. This morning while I was making orange juice, Noah was so curious and wanted to see. So I pulled up a chair for him asking if he would like to be my sous chef. But in a matter of minutes it was clear who the sous chef was going to be. ME!!! He took charge, and proceeded to juice oranges for a good 30 minutes, getting the hang of it in no time. He giggled like I have never heard him giggle before, when his chubby little hand held the orange over the juicer and the machine vibrated his whole body. I laughed and laughed! I had to pull him away, screaming mind you, while I went to get my camera. As soon as he realized he was getting to go back to juicing, he was laughing again.

Ahhhh, enjoying the "fruits" of his labor!!!
If you liked Orange Bang, or Orange Whip, then you should look for this packet of goodness in your market. All you do is add the flesh of 2-3 oranges to a blender, the powder from this packet, fat free milk if desired, and I don't use milk at all, and some ice. Whip it up to a frothy and refreshing drink that is about as close to Orange Bang as I have ever tasted. Low in calories, high in fiber and energy, and just plain delicious! And my little Dazey juicer from WalMart that I spent about 9.00 dollars on many years ago, has served me well over the years of juicing our oranges!

How fun! There is nothing like a little kid giggle is there?

I need a juicer so bad. Do you think they have any nine dollar ones anymore at Walmart? I like that price!

What cute pictures of Noah and what a good little helper. Oh no wait, you were the helper ;)
Looks good too, does it taste like the old Orange Julius? I used to love those when I was a kid.
