Our Shakin' Easter!!

Easter was low key here.  The day before, Noah came over for a little while, and he let me help him color some eggs.  Here he is, with finger to cheek, thinking about which bowl to put the next egg in.
He LOVED coloring eggs.  I wish I had boiled a few dozen more, and had Hannie and Claire here too. Next year, I will make sure to do that.
On Easter morning, all of our kids came at 10:00 for an Easter Egg Hunt.  I filled dozens of eggs.  Just as I was getting out of the shower, we had a surprise visit from my brother David and his family!  They came to watch the kiddos have their egg hunt.  But first they had to open up their baskets from Gamma and Geeps.
I think Hannah was most excited for that.  She is getting to that fun age to really anticipate this fun stuff when it is talked about.  Her parents said she was very excited about the Easter Bunny coming to visit.  I also heard that when he visited their house, he left foot prints all over the place!!!!
I didn't get good pictures of Claire opening her basket.  She was enjoying it though.
Then Noah arrived.  He was all fired up!
Uncle Dave was so cute down on the floor with the kids.  Hannah got such a kick out of him!

I love this picture of him with the grass on his head, and Hannah's sheer delight!
Then, it was time for the egg hunt.

On your marks........get set...............GO!
They had a BALL!!!!!  And so did we, just watching them.
I think my nephews and niece had just as much fun as the kids did.
Get a load of those zebra pants Geeps is wearing!!!!  I think he doest that just to irritate me!!
The big kids being silly.
The sky was so beautiful yesterday!
My nephew Chad is a nut!
This is the kids doing some posing....as per our request.
They were NOT cooperating!

A couple out of order favorites.
David and his family left after the egg hunt.  The kids went home to rest, and came back afterwards for dinner.  The earthquake "RATTLED" us a little.  But we enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner, and homemade shortcake for dessert.  Yum.
I hope your Easter was happy too!!!

I am hoping it is Kate Gosselin leaving the show tonite. She does not come across as the wounded woman she thinks she is. I know that sounds really mean, but, it is very hard to like her.

Ok, I just realized I left a comment for Maryrose on the wrong blog. I am sure you were thinking what kind of a bizarro is commenting on DWTS out of the blue.........

What happened to my comment I left yesterday?? I know I left one!

Well, I came back b/c we were on the topics of cake plates at Costco & I wanted to tell you that tonight at Costco I bought those Braided BREAD Basket Bowels~do you know the ones I'm talking about? Well, I got one for my birthday & I saw the a dual pack of them at Costco for only $14.97!!!! The price tag on mine was $40 bucks! Thought as much as your cooking up bread that you might be interested!
