Twenty Nine years ago today, our lives changed forever, in the best possible way! We brought home this perfect little bundle of pure joy.
Here she is with Greg's Mom, Gramma Mac, or Gramac as the kids called her. Gennifer was a beautiful baby. She had dark rosy skin, and lots and lots of hair! She was a good baby, but didn't like to sleep. I didn't care, because I was just so thrilled to no longer be pregnant, and have her in my life, that I was content to hold her whenever she wanted to be held.
Sorry for the poor photo quality, but I haven't learned to scan yet. I hear it is easy-peasy, and plan to learn soon. Until then, this will have to do. The above pictures were taken in our little cabin in the woods where we lived until I had Erika. We LOVED this little old cottage. It was a one bedroom, set up high on a hill surrounded by trees. We felt like we lived in a tree house. We rented it for 500 dollars a month and were barely scraping by. Oh how we loved our Carbon Canyon Cottage.
This next picture was taken at my parents house at Gennifer's 1st Birthday Party. (Katie, that's you in the spa with us)
In the 35 yrs or so that I have known Greg, he has ALWAYS had a mustache. He shaved it this one time, when Gennifer was a baby, and she was scared of him. He grew it back immediately, and has not shaved it since. He was just a few months shy of his 27th birthday in this picture!
Shopping money!! You loved it then, and you love it still!!
Gennifer, you have given us 29 years of joy. We wish you the Happiest of Happy Birthdays!!! We LOVE you!!!! See you tonight.
