Today Is My Birthday

Today is my birthday.  I was born at 2:47 in the morning, 51 years ago.  Some people say I celebrate my birthday for days, weeks, and sometimes even my entire birth month!!!   Whether for a day, or week, or month, I am reminded each year, how very fortunate I am to have such wonderful close relationships in my life.  I am truly blessed.  On Sunday, my brother and all of his family came out to take me to dinner.   Yesterday I got to spend the entire day at a favorite day spa with my dear friend Jae, whose birthday happens to be the day before mine.  Today I received good wishes from early this morning, and  throughout the day. They came by way of phone, txt, mail, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and even a cleverly penned poem from my dear friend Maryrose.  Tonight we all went to our oldest daughter's house for a wonderful dinner and little birthday party.  She and my son in law Jake prepared a fantastic dinner, and our grandchildren provided us with lots of smiles and entertainment!  My Mom and Nana came out too.  Yes, I am feeling very blessed.  And do believe I may be the luckiest woman in the world!  I did not bring my camera, because I knew that both of my girls would be taking pictures with theirs.  When we got home though, Greg took a photo of me with my son Drew, because he had to work tonight and missed the party.

This afternoon I saw this note on the door that goes into the house from the garage.  We have this white board here for messages.  I liked these.
