Hello New Week

Hello.  We are back.  We ran up to Big Bear on spur of the moment Saturday to bring up a piece of furniture.  It was about 100 degrees here, and in the high 70's there.  Gorgeous!    As many times as I have been up there, it amazes me each time, that it is so different, only an hour away from our home.  We have never seen the lake so full!   There was  a lot of activity on the lake.  We checked into reserving spots at Holloway's to camp for next 4th of July!  They do a fantastic firework display over the lake.  They do not require a 5 night minimum to camp like Newport Dunes.  Nor do they charge over 300 dollars a night to camp!  Is that ridiculous or what?  So it looks like Holloway's it is for us next year on the 4th!
We visited with friends.  We ate at our favorite place in Big Bear.
We brought home one of Blanca's delicious pies.
We were wishing we had the boat up there.   The lake was beautiful, and we were dying to be out on it.
Back home now.  New day.  New week.  I feel like a new person.  My cold is still here, a little, but I am feeling SO much better!   It is supposed to be much cooler this week.  Thankfully!  I have much to do.  See you soon.

Hi Kris, what a beautiful lake. Watching fireworks over it next year will be so fun. I had to laugh when you said, $300 a night to camp. When our kids were little, we didn't have alot of money so we would go camping alot. Now days, it takes alot of money to go camping. Sorry to hear that you were not feeling well. Glad that you're on the up swing. Have a great week.

Nothing better than a local home cooked pie. Glad you are doing better this week.

Big Storms right through my yarn and garden early this morning. Hit the basement. Lots of clean up going on. No tree loss here, but across the street a big one is down. Oh, and by the way, it's 91 with 100% humidity out there while cleaning up. Not a happy camper today.
