24 Hours With Two Cuties!

We had our granddaughters for an overnighter last night.  It was fun.  It was the first time that they spent the night here at Gramma and Geeps house!!  We have had them overnight, but at their house.  They had a ball playing with cars and Little People!  I must have had my camera on the wrong setting because every picture I took of them playing was blurry.  But I still thought this was cute.  Hannah had  her pants rolled up into shorts.  I loved it!
We played outside, played inside, ate dinner, had baths, watched a movie.  Played I Spy With My Little Eye.  They slept great, and woke up to donuts that Geeps brought them.
We played with cars and Little People some more.
After breakfast, we went to The Farmer's Market.  Then dropped Geeps back off at home, and I took them to Target to find a battery operated toothbrush like Noah's.  Phew...we found them.  A Cinderella toothbrush for each.  Then they spotted a Hello Kitty that they each had to have.  Had a blue Icee, then headed back to their house to take them back home.  Mommy and Daddy had a nice little get away, and we had a fun sleepover!
When I got back home the house was empty, and I spent the rest of the day doing more Fall decorating.  I am done now with the exception of my Pumpkins and Mums.   When the pumpkins hit the stores, I buy dozens of them!   I am too tired to blog the Fall pictures now.  I am going to go lay heady down.  Mr. G is at a poker tournament and won't be home for quite a while.  So the telly is all mine!
G'night all.

How fun. They are so cute and you seem to have so many fun things for them to do. You are a good grandma. I saw your post on your name. Interesting. I like the old name too. Very cute but do what your heart tells you. When I was thinking of a name I was sitting in the patio with the sun shining and I live a very simple life so I just came up with Sunny Simple Life. Sort of a nod to SoCal and all our sunshine. I like it. It flows I think.

They had so much fun at their sleepover with you and their Geeps. And Jake and I are So lucky to have you watching over them and knowing without a doubt that they are in the hands of someone who loves them just as much as we do!!

Thank you thank you thank you!! We really enjoyed our special getaway. I know its a lot of work to have them, so I hope you are rested up! Love you. :)

I'm not really sure it was your camera. I think that age is pretty much none stop movement. What a treat to have an overnight with you. I still have vivid memories with my GPs and an overnight. Maybe, it was that we got snowed in during a Chicago blizzard, but I remember those precious moment with grammy oh so well.

Hi Kris,
Such cuties those two are. I love having my grandies over every now and then. Sure looks like they had a fun time with Grandma. Gotta tell you that I wrote a long comment on your previous post. Don't know what happened, but it didn't take. Then I was too tired to retype. lol! Wanted to let you know that your pizza looks so yummy!

Hi Kris, Love your fall decorating. Beautiful quilts. I also love fall, like you do. It's my fav season here in SoCal. Most of the heat is over until next year and I think that everyone gets back into a new routine and productive again and it's all about change, too. Hope you enjoy BlogSugar. I would've loved to attend but have so much going on and will blog about it soon. Have a fab week!
