Singing In The Rain!!!

I will be going to this on Saturday!

Yesterday and today, we are having our first glorious rain of the season.  We Californians don't get to see too much of this wet stuff, and when we do, it is GREAT!  At least for me.  I love it.   They are saying we will be back up into the 80's for the weekend, so I will enjoy it while it lasts!
There is sure to be something wonderful coming from this machine later today.
I will be making Sheperd's Pie for dinner.  When I made mashed potatoes the other night, I froze about half for this dish.  And I see potato cheese soup in our near future too.
Wherever you are today, I hope you are enjoying the changing of the seasons as much as I am!!
See you soon.

We've had more than our fair share of rain this summer and it, combined with cooler temperatures, is making fall look lovely. It's my favorite season!!

Best,
Bonnie

I love the rain, and the sound of it on a tin porch roof. Enjoy it while it lasts. Dinner sounds amazing, what time are you serving? LOL Do you ever make your mashed taters with cream cheese? They are the best!!

Can I go to Sew Funky with you? Be there shortly. I'll sleep in the motorhome. We had rain too. It was so nice. High will be 78 tomorrow and then back up in the 90's. I'm making Paula Deen's goulash for dinner and for freezing and Katie and I are having homemade pizza for lunch today. Guess my diet will have to wait another day.

Hi there Kris, You are so lucky to go to so many neat conferences/shows etc.
We had sprinkles here last night but they didn't last-heard you've had a fair amount this week.
Your dinner sounds great. Enjoy your afternoon.
Hugs, Noreen

Hi Kris, that looks like a fancy bread machine! Mine actually just started to go on the fritz after two years. Your dinner sounds yummy and perfect for a rainy day. :-)

Hi Kris! Thanks for stopping by this morning and leaving your sweet comments!! Like you, I love rainy days! They're perfect for nesting and tinkering in the house! It also makes everything outside feel a little more like fall. Especially, in Texas! Have a great evening!

After an entire month of rainy days....and I do mean a WHOLE month...I sorta lost my thrill for the wet stuff! Today is sunny, 70s and perfect. AHHH.....

When we left California, my greatest thrill was the amount of rain we receive in our new locale. Everything is always green and lush...and moldy. LOL It's such a different world and I live with an umbrella in my car, in my purse, etc. But I still never tire of it! It smells so good! Enjoy your weather. Were you on "storm watch"?

Isn't the rain heavenly! It hasn't stopped all day hasn't it. Yes, singing in the rain and my chickens actually love it! Silly girls!

You do find the funniest place to go. Your Saturday sounds like another fun adventure. I too love a rainy day, but when I'm home. So glad we are having sun up here. But, I could play hooky one day and not drive up and down the thumb of MI. Shepard's Pie with Mashie Potatoes sounds so good, nothing like home cooking.

I've definitely had my fill of rain here and flooding, lol. We had the sun peek out today and it was delightful! :-) So what kind of yummy bread did you make? :-)
Have a wonderful evening!

Blessings,
Jill

We had rain today too. It always makes for a cozy day. I make Shepherds pie often when I have leftover mashed potatoes. A good hearty old fashioned meal. Love your little pumpking light.

Its raining here too, and I love it. The air smells fresh and clean and my lawn is finally greening up. We are thinking "soup" here too.
