Baby It's Cold Outside!

Winter has arrived in Southern California!  I love it!
I spent the majority of the weekend standing in lines, fighting traffic, and finishing my holiday shopping. Now I can do some fun things this week with the granddkids.   I spent 3 hours last night doing this.
Even though I said I would not be taking on any more orders before Christmas, I took one more.  I will be working on that today.
I have an order for 4 Holiday Bloomie's that will be ready for pick up today at 2:00.
Aside from a couple of sewing projects I am working on for gifts, there won't be much left in my shop until after Christmas.
Have you had these white chocolate Hershey's Kisses with peppermint?  Oh MY!!  Go find these, they are amazingly delicious!!!
Do you have an Elf On The Shelf?  We do.  His name is Billy.  Silly Billy is what we usually call him.  Over the weekend Billy was tucked underneath a blanket on the sofa and had gotten a bag of fruit snacks to use as a pillow for his head.  Today, we woke up to find that Billy was completely rested and had gone sledding in the house!!

Is your Elf getting into mischief too?  I wonder what he will do next?
I am going to have one more cup of coffee and then greet the day.  There is a little person sitting next to me who says he wants breakfast now.
What have you got going on this week before Christmas?
XO  Kris

Those kisses are amaaaaaaazing!!! My co-workers looked upon them with disdain--force-feeding was involved (to a point) and now I have a few converts. Engineers. So against change!
I remember watching my mom write out cards and I couldn't WAIT to be older to write my own - it looked so fun! Now I think "Ugh! You've got to be kidding me! This is awful! Why can't grandma have email!!!!"

I am enjoying the cool temperatures too. Your week sounds good. I only have a few presents to wrap and 1 pair of jammies to make. That leaves me mainly free to just enjoy the grandkids which is what I intend to do. Have a wonderful week Kris!

That is a LOT of Christmas cards! Good for you for getting them done. Love your little Elf, Billy. We don't have one. I just heard about them a couple of weeks ago when the creators were on Rachel Ray.

Congrats on the "winter" weather! Enjoy!

You said cold???? Girl, here is Colorado that is a heat wave!!! WE've enjoyed the warm weather until today when we had white fluffy things floating in the air.
Loved to hear about Hershey's Peppermint kisses, will have to get some tomorrow and maybe a couple extra bags for the freezer.

You are braver than I am to have braved the stores this last weekend! We hid out like a couple of hermits! Hubby went out today and braved downtown to find me a few "surprise" presents. Isn't that sweet?
Enjoy your week and the big day!

Looks like a lot of fun around your house. I love that cute mug in your last photo. Oh gosh, I do love those peppermint kisses. I need to get some before they are gone. :)

Not much going on here. My sister had her surgery yesterday! It was stressful, but went well. It was a long and emotional day. She has a long road to recovery and a lot of pain, but we are so grateful. Thanks for your prayers.
