Birthdays

Well hello there.  Long time, no see!    Today was my Mom and my niece Deanna's birthday.
We all went to a favorite restaurant of ours.  Some were missing, so it was a smaller group than usual.
Here is half the table.
And here is the other half.
There are usually about 30 in our get togethers.  Not many restaurants can accommodate us, but The Crab Cooker always does.
Happy Birthday Mom and Deanna!!!
Our grandson Noah turned FIVE this past Thursday too.  He had a fun day at school, and we gathered for pizza at our house that night.
His Mama got him a shiny new bike!!  He was so excited!
Gamma and Geeps got him a new Razor Scooter.
The three kids had so much fun racing in the front yard!
A fun time was had by all!
I leave you with a feel good picture of my granddaughter Hannah.  We have been "swimming" in the spa lately, and the kids have been loving that.  This picture of her makes me smile.  Oh to be so carefree!!!!
I have had a bit of a clog in my blog lately.  I am not sure why.  Just sort of tired from a lot of goings on here in my life.  I have been going a mile a minute for months.  I think it has caught up with me.  I am trying to take it easy for a bit.
XO  Kris

Ah, family time, it's the best! Our Grands use our hot tub for a swiming pool as well. Never to cold in the hot tub

Sweet birthday photos! It's so fun to get a big group together, my family in Indiana does that when possible. My grandson celebrates his 14th b'day today and I'll get to see him this week, can't wait.
You take all the rest-up time you need, take care of yourself, girlfriend!

Kris, you run yourself ragged that is for sure. Take some time to rest and relax. We are all here when you want to pop back in. Love the family photos, you are so lucky that your family is so close.

What a beautiful family...I hope you can slow down a bit...I too had to take some time for me. It is such a fast pace here with the late Spring and soon I am off for more Sister on the Fly vintage trailer trips...of course, that is a lot of fun but some work to get ready.

Kris, your celebrations always look so fun! Nothing better than a family gathering, especially with those little ones. Your Grands are so stinkin' cute! It's great that the cousins are so close.
If you weren't a little run down after the past few months, I'd have to think you were Wonder Woman! You run circles around the rest of us, I always feel like a slug after reading about all you accomplish! ;) Rest up and take good care of yourself, enjoy the sunshine and your gorgeous flowers.

Hugs,
Deb

Family celebrations are the best! I know how you feel with the blog clog (loved that term!). Sometimes I just want to enjoy life and not have to think about posting something.

Great party pics, and wonderful memories. Maybe take a bloogy break and recover from life. Sometimes those things just have to be done. I have been considering it too:)

Total fun was had by all. Those three are so much excitement, I bet they make your day a brighter place. Good job taking it slow. It's been wonderful to not let my blog rule my life like it was. Enjoy it. We will all still be here and around. It's summer besides and that means outdoor time for us here.

Love the pictures, and love that your family celebrates LIFE so very well! I agree with you, that picture of Hannah is great, and I miss those true carefree days of childhood.

Get some rest. You always inspire/amaze me with how much you have going on all the time. You deserve a little down time. Take care!

xo.

Dear Kris.. you're such a great person.. your close family shows how much of a love you are. What a neat place for a big family party! As for your blog.. don't worry about things.. just blog when you feel like it and enjoy it. We all can go days without it if we feel like there isn't something to share. It's cool.. we'll be here when you feel like posting.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hmmmmmm. While your grands enjoy spinning their wheels or swimming in your hot tub, I am imagining you taking a turn in the hot tub for a relaxing soak, then fixing a glass of iced tea and finding a comfy spot to relax while reading or crocheting for a bit. Then perhaps you will find a perch to enjoy watching the busy beautiful birds around you while you relax and smell the roses. (:

Hi Kris, Well girl it is no wonder you are feeling a tad bit tired-you should be; you always make me feel like I'm a slow poke. Loved seeing the photos of the birthdays-so very precious that you all get together and get along!
I hope you have a wonderful relaxing week, doing what makes your heart sing.
