Fall....Please Hurry!

Hi there.  I popped into one of my favorite haunts after dropping Noah at school.  I got this for almost nothing.  Love the barn red against my Tuscan Gold walls in the kitchen.
Not crazy about the Live, Love, Laugh tiles at the top.  I think I will remove them.  Might put cork in there for some photos or something.
My Mama is coming out tonight with Nana.  She is bringing Wood Ranch.  It is too darned hot to cook.
Think we are heading up to the lake tomorrow.  Should be some thunder showers and much cooler weather.
Have a safe and fun Labor Day Weekend.
Oh yea....the Mr. and I will be celebrating our 33rd anniversary on Saturday too.  Wow...how did THAT happen?
XO  Kris

FIrst of all Happy Anniversary, in this day and age 33 is amazing and you should both be proud. I just read about your son, oh my I just know you are feeling such relief. It is great that he has figured this out and that shows huge maturity. Hopefully this extra time with him will help him to have a plan that makes you all fell more okay about the move. Now you can really enjoy your lovely time at the lake with a heart that is light and not weighed down with worry.
Hugs,
Meredith

I, too, am ready for fall! We are still having record breaking temps here in Denver. At least we cool down to the 50s & 60s overnight! I'm seeing some changes in the leaves, fall can't be too far away. Think I'll start getting my fall tubs out of the garage this weekend! I was SO happy to read about Drew's change of plans! I'm sure you all will feel better knowing he has someone else there with him. Now, go relax and have a wonderful anniversary! ♥

Seriously, wow, how did that happen. Oh, that's right, the perfect clan. A cabin in the woods with a boat doesn't hurt either...he-he... Love your find. Like the cork idea better too. Have a great weekend and hope you have something fun planned.

Yes Fall...please do hurry! That's one thing I like about living on the East Coast...autumn comes earlier than on the West Coast. I'll be decorating the house in another week or so. Can't wait.

I LOVE that board you purchased! Great find.

Thirty-three years! You don't hear of people who stick together all that much anymore. Congrats! It's not easy - but it's wonderful when it happens! We are coming up on 28 in November. It was the blink of an eye. Dang it! It's not all supposed to go by so fast!

Have a great weekend and enjoy the weather and the lake!

Hi Kris, Firstly congrat's to you and the Mr. for 33 yrs-you are just one year behind me & my man. Where do the years go?! I can't wait to see what you do with the chalkboard. My man is heading north on Sat. for a 2 day gold tournament, so I'm having 2 granddaughters for dinner and a sleepover. Have a wonderful evening and a great long weekend at the lake.

33 years! Wow that is fantastic Kris! CONGRATULATIONS to you both!

First day of spring here tomorrow, and the weather is starting to heat up this coming week, my body will go into shock after such a cold, dreary winter...

Furthermore to your question; my middle daughter is a full time student at University. She is a clever girl, always finishing top of the class at school, and now has a scholarship to attend Uni. She is doing a PhD in Ancient History. I dont know where her talent will lead her, maybe into politics, as she has a keen interest in that, will have to wait and see. The world is her oyster. She traveled over to America to further her studies earlier this year. I only get to see her a couple of times a year, sometimes only once a year and that is at Christmas time. My eldest and youngest daughters live nearby and my son is still at home, he is 16.

I wish you a happy and safe weekend.

Love your find, it is perfect with the tiles or cork. Nice thing is you can change it to whatever you want whenever you want. Sounds like a winner to me. Yes, lovely fall, hopefully cooler days and nights. Doesn't sitting around a campfire sound nice, marshmallows, and friends.
Have a great weekend, be safe.

Cute Kris. Love the red! Yes, you will come up with a new creative idea in place of the live, love, laugh. I have a board over my french doors that says that and I too thought it needed to be repainted or just taken down. Been there, done that! ha, ha!
