Testing......1...2...3

I don't know why I am having trouble with Blogger, but I am.  I am using my friend Patty's suggestion, and trying to upload using another browser.  Let's see........

Well, I'll be.....it worked.  But I prefer Firefox over IExplorer.  Oh well, I can post...so let's just do a quick one.  My pumpkins are going nuts!  I have 18 that are mature.
The ones that I carved the grandkids names in are picked.  I was just trying to turn Claire's right side up and it snapped off.  So I took the other two off too.

They are too big to fit on my little ladder.  I am going to paint that ladder red.   I planted more pumpkins in the big pot near the other pumpkins.  I also planted a pot of cantaloupe.
The grass does not grow well on this side of the yard for some reason.  I would love to take this over with garden.  The pumpkins are on the left.  They have now spread several feet beyond that, and are loaded with pumpkins.  And my original patch, has now started a whole new crop!  I know I won't be buying any pumpkins this year!!
We were having some horrible heat up until a couple of days ago.  Chickens don't tolerate the heat very well.  I make them frozen flock block treats.
I added some sliced bananas that were over ripe.  The leftover applesauce from Noah's breakfast.  Broccoli pieces, sliced grapes, add some water, then layer more stuff in there.  Freeze it, then unmold it and bring it to the girls.
As the heat melts it away, they will peck at it, and enjoy finding their treats.
I had a fun morning one day last week with my three little grandkiddos.
Sillies!
Patty, thanks for the suggestion.  I remember now that when I had this problem in Big Bear one time, I did wind up using another browser to post.  Eventually, I was able to go back to Mozilla.
Come on back tomorrow to see what's been cooking.
XO  Kris

Wow that is a good idea for the chickens.
I'm sorry u r so frustrated. It's not fun when things don't work out.
I hope you find the right tool to help you. Your pumpkins are just amazing :)

Love those pumpkins! And the girls look so happy with their treat.

The strange thing is...a few months ago, your blog wouldn't let me comment if I was using Firefox, I can only comment using IE, yours is the only blog that won't allow me to comment using Mozilla. Strange.

Those chicks are lucky with the cool treats! I use Safari and haven't had any trouble with uploading photos. Hope that continues.

Best,
Bonnie

Try Google chrome as my daughter the computer geek says it is the best platform for blogger which is a google product. Love the pumpkins. I have about 7-8 nice ones so far this year too. They are everywhere but I trim mine cause I don't have that much space. They are rambling down the side of the house which I love.

I can't believe those pumpkins are that big already! Wow, and the names came out so cute.

I don't use IE anymore. I love Chrome, it sped up my computer big time!

Have a great week.

Your garden is amazeballs! The pumpkins look fantastic, and I would have never thought to plant cantaloupe in a pot. I'm going to try that next year!
Those chickens are very lucky to have you for their mama!

Hi Kris, Blogger has been having lots of issues this last weekend-I couldn't get any blogs on my reader. Glad you got it fixed too. I use Firefox also over IE; trying to have a back up with Bloglovin and maybe Linky but I can't get Linky to work for me.
I'll be back around in 12 days-I'll miss you girl!!!!
Hugs, Noreen

Happy happy chicken! That is a great idea for helping them stay cool and hydrated too.
Love the Grandkids pumpkins. Have they seen them yet? I can just imagine the excitement.
Our heat wave is still firmly ensconced here and I'm getting ready to head to the swimming bay here at the lake.
Blessings,
Betsy

So exciting to see the picked pumpkins for your Pumpkins, Kris :) Have you ever tried to cut a pumpkin vine and feed it bowls of milk...not sure exactly how or how long you can do that but it supposedly helps the pumpkin grow to super-size.
I use Google Chrome, too.

That's a great idea to help the chickens keep cool. Might have to borrow that one for our girls in the heat...
