From Hammy Sammy to Hammy Soupy

Yesterday we had a great buffet with honey baked ham, and I took the rest of the ham slices off the bone today and saved it for a few more sandwiches, and with the rest of the ham on the bone I made a big pot of white bean soup today. Mmmmmmm!!
Greg came home early today not feeling well, and this was the perfect meal. Comfort food all the way.

You know, I'm not feeling so well myself..wink, wink. Can I come over? Without my babies? I'll even bring my own spoon.

Looks great! That is one of the hard things about cooking for two - I don't get enough ham bones! I love split pea soup also.

Kristi,
Yes, come on over! There is plenty left!!
Sharon, Sorry, I know you hate onions. This pic was in the beginning of the cooking stages. When it was done, you would not have ever known that there were onions in there. Celery too, but it creams down to nothing but flavor.
Helen, It was a toss up between white beans and split pea. I have enough ham to do some split pea too.
Kelly.....aww....thanks! How are you feeling?
