Bloomie Pins

Couldn't get out for more fabric today.  Forgot that the stores are all closed.  But I had plenty of fabrics to experiment with for some more of the Bloomie Pins.  First I made a smaller template.  The first pins I did were TOO big.  But still fun.  I made three different sizes of petals.  I made one with a very pretty and sheer green fabric that matches the whirly twirly scarf perfectly.
Then, a cream colored pin.  LOVE this one!  So shabby chic.

Then I made a navy blue pin out of jersey knit.  And this one was so different in this fabric.  I love it.  I experimented with several different procedures and found a much better way to make and assemble them.  And I like the results much better.
This one is very nautical looking.
Or like this.
Or this.
Or like this.  I love them attached to bags.  I don't have enough for an Etsy shop yet, but I am thinking about it.

Did you have your Black Eyed Peas today for a Prosperous and Healthy New Year?  We sure did!
It's late.  I'm going to bed.  Happy New Year!!!

Put my name at the top the list for when that etsy shop is running:) I had actually seen these awhile back (it was last Valentine's Day actually) and went and bought all I needed to make a few for friends. Being that I am completely crafty-defunct...they were pitiful and certainly were never gifts. I still have a lot of pins, though. I think these are the cutest little accessories! and I will shop from your store:)

And I do love those new years black eyed peas!! (the rest of the family...not so much!)

I LOVE those pins! They would beautifully dress up any outfit. I was looking for a gray one to wear on my dress to our younger son's wedding 9/19/09 and never found one. Alas, where were you then? I could have ordered one! You really should consider Etsy as a venue for selling them.

Best,
Bonnie
