Couldn't get out for more fabric today. Forgot that the stores are all closed. But I had plenty of fabrics to experiment with for some more of the Bloomie Pins. First I made a smaller template. The first pins I did were TOO big. But still fun. I made three different sizes of petals. I made one with a very pretty and sheer green fabric that matches the whirly twirly scarf perfectly.
Then, a cream colored pin. LOVE this one! So shabby chic.
Then I made a navy blue pin out of jersey knit. And this one was so different in this fabric. I love it. I experimented with several different procedures and found a much better way to make and assemble them. And I like the results much better.
This one is very nautical looking.
Or like this.
Or this.
Or like this. I love them attached to bags. I don't have enough for an Etsy shop yet, but I am thinking about it.
Did you have your Black Eyed Peas today for a Prosperous and Healthy New Year? We sure did!
It's late. I'm going to bed. Happy New Year!!!

No I did not have black eyed peas. Dangit. Hope my year is still prosperous and healthy!
Loved the flower you had on for New Years Eve and love the new ones...
it looks like you had a nice New Years Day, and probably sitting in MY seat by the fire :)
I love those flowers. I love etsy too!
Those are adorable flower pins! Would look great along with your other creations in "Kristy's Etsy Shop"!!!!!!!;)
Those are beautiful!!! Love the cream one! And the Black Eyed Peas look yummy!!
If you decide to sell the pins pass it along on the blog I would buy a few I have never sewen or done anything like that but I love the hand made flowers trend!
Put my name at the top the list for when that etsy shop is running:) I had actually seen these awhile back (it was last Valentine's Day actually) and went and bought all I needed to make a few for friends. Being that I am completely crafty-defunct...they were pitiful and certainly were never gifts. I still have a lot of pins, though. I think these are the cutest little accessories! and I will shop from your store:)
And I do love those new years black eyed peas!! (the rest of the family...not so much!)
These flowers just keep getting prettier! I just love all of them Kris.
Bloomie pins ... I love the name, and the pins themselves are beautiful. Nicely displayed, great pictures. Your header picture is great!
You would sell those things lot hotcakes on Etsy. So cute! Happy New Year.
I LOVE those pins! They would beautifully dress up any outfit. I was looking for a gray one to wear on my dress to our younger son's wedding 9/19/09 and never found one. Alas, where were you then? I could have ordered one! You really should consider Etsy as a venue for selling them.
Best,
Bonnie
Do it, do it, do it!! Open up an Etsy shop!! These are adorable!! I think people would buy them and you can start up an fb page with them too. If you really like doing it, you could get some major business! Do it!

How cute are those!! I love them plain or tied in with a scarf... you are so talented Kris.
Now, these are fun. I read somewhere that you were up to all hours last night at the sewing machine.. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve now..... Love the RED/BLACK/WHITE...
You are the flower queen of Corona!!! They are all adorable.
Loved your pea soup. Dennis said it was the best he's ever had. Thank you for doing the tut on Pea Soup.
